Mobile Messaging App, WhatsApp is set to roll out new update for Android
Users. The new update is expected to alter the Settings menu with new
icons and style.The version 2.12.506 of WhatsApp is not rolled out yet,
however unofficial update has been released online.
The new WhatsApp’s version 2.12.506 is not officially rolled out in Google Playstore. Although, users can download it from APK Mirror Website. Those users who can’t wait for the official update, can install the APK File or simply register for Google Play’s Beta Programme in order to get a new update.
This new WhatsApp’s update will bring Data Usage option which lets the users to control the type of files which it can download via WiFi, Mobile Data. Also, Chats and Calls are combined in a single menu, which means you will see both options under “Chats”, it also comes with Data Usage. Surprisingly, payment option is now finally removed. In January, WhatsApp announced that it will be free for all, but payment option is still present there, and it will get vanished in the next update.
Last week, WhatsApp rolled out new update with a feature of sending
documents over Chat. This feature is available to the major mobile
operating systems, Android and iOS’s respective application stores.
